Tire Tubes for Forestry & Skidder Equipment

Forestry and Skidder tire tubes are extra heavy duty compared to regular tire tubes. This is due to the extreme work conditions these machines face. The most popular tubes used are made of natural rubber, rather than synthetic. This natural rubber material is a higher quality, heavier duty, thicker rubber that can withstand the extreme conditions required for these machines. Forestry equipment operates out in remote areas and almost always use tire chains for extra traction. A flat tire is too costly and time consuming to risk. Skidder and forestry equipment operators insist on the use of the highest quality, natural rubber tubes to prevent costly tube failure.

Tire tubes are not manufactured in all tire sizes- one tube may fit up to 4 or more different tire sizes. If you don’t see your size listed, just give us a call and we will get the proper fitment for you.

HELPFUL REMINDER ABOUT TIRE TUBES: Tire tube manufacturers are moving toward only producing RADIAL TIRE TUBES due to the fact that they can be used in both radial and bias tires. Still, some tire tubes are made in both radial and bias construction. Just remember RADIAL TIRE TUBES can be installed in both RADIAL TIRES AND BIAS TIRES, but BIAS TIRE TUBES can only be installed in BIAS TIRES. So, if your tire is of bias construction but a bias tube is not available, don’t hesitate substituting a radial tube. NOTE: A Radial tube is designated with an “R” in the size (ex. 18.4R30).
